Services
We are a multidisciplinary design firm, collaborating with our partners in various fields, including building design, renovation and alteration planning, land use planning, and property development.
Building Design
We work extensively in building design, covering a wide range of projects, including residential properties, schools, daycares, as well as cultural, administrative, and office buildings.
All our building design projects are planned using BIM (Building Information Modeling). In many projects, we take on not only the roles of lead and building designers but also comprehensive design tasks. This means we provide the entire design team, including specialized designers, to make space available for use.
Our building design clients primarily consist of public entities, but we also collaborate with property and construction companies as partners.
Renovation and Alteration Planning
We specialize in the renovation and alteration planning of demanding culturally and historically significant buildings.
Recent renovation projects have included landmarks such as Helsinki Central Railway Station, the National Museum, Hakaniemi Market Hall, the Supreme Administrative Court, and the Aalto2 Museum Center in Jyväskylä.
Over the years, our office has been responsible for the restoration and renovation of several key buildings designed by Alvar Aalto.
Land Use Planning
We offer land use planning services at all scales, including land use consulting, studies, reference designs, zoning plans, and strategic land use planning.
Our team is accustomed to multidisciplinary work, and our capabilities in data-based planning are strong, whether it’s utilizing spatial data, interaction, or visualizing plans.
Our clients include cities, municipalities, the state, as well as private landowners.
Property Development
With our diverse expertise, we can offer comprehensive services for property development projects, from drafting zoning plans to the implementation planning of buildings.
Property development often links to our projects involving alterations to heritage properties, where buildings are updated – taking into account heritage preservation considerations – to meet future needs.
